Every Harbor Home is backed by the 10-year RWC (Residential Warranty Corporation) Oklahoma warranty for new homes. The 10-year portion of your warranty is covered by RWC and is for the Designated Structural elements (DSE) of the home. The 1-year builder portion of the warranty is covered by Harbor Homes. A warranty book can be provided upon agreement to build/buy and it will be included in the booklet at closing. The warranty book explains in detail what is covered, what is not covered, and how to make a warranty request for a repair.
Harbor Homes pays for the warranty and it is included with every new home. Harbor Homes and the homeowners are bound by this warranty. Ben Gray, the founder and president, has a bond that is purchased to ensure Harbor Homes follows the warranty. The warrantor - RWC, serves as a 3rd party between the homeowner and Harbor Homes should issues arise. In addition, there are set procedures in place to help settle disputes.
